To provide a resonance type capacitive proximity sensor capable of detecting the proximity of a human body with high reliability by suppressing false detection and detection omission.SOLUTION: A capacitive proximity sensor 1 includes: oscillation means 33: an LCR resonance circuit 10 including a sensor electrode 11; a sensor circuit 20 which outputs a determination voltage signal Saccording to the capacitance of the sensor electrode 11; and a controller 32 which detects the proximity of a human body to the sensor electrode 11 based on the determination voltage signal S.
