SOLID-LIQUID SEPARATION SYSTEM AND SOLID-LIQUID SEPARATION METHOD
To provide a solid-liquid separation system that can optimize inflow volumes to each layer of a multi-layer type final sedimentation basin in a sewage-disposal plant to improve a disposal capacity of the final sedimentation basin, and a solid-liquid separation method.SOLUTION: The solid-liquid separation system according to one embodiment of the present invention is a multi-layer type solid-liquid separation system which makes an inner wall 10 partition a final sedimentation basin P in a sewage-disposal plant into an upper layer and a lower layer to separate the basin at least into two-story layers of sedimentation basins forming upper layer flow and lower layer flow and drains sewage through at least either of troughs (water channels) and perforated pipes provided in the upper layer and the lower layer respectively of the final sedimentation basin, which is provided with flow volume adjustment means that sets drainage volumes in the lower layer flow to be more than drainage volumes in the upper layer flow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
