To provide a water purifier with high convenience for a user.SOLUTION: A water purifier (100) has a water purification cartridge (40) that filters raw water to produce purified water, a discharge port (80) for discharging the purified water produced by the water purification cartridge (4), a first on-off valve (51) that allows the discharge of the purified water from the discharge port (80) or stops it, a voice recognition unit (13) that acquires the voice of the user, and a first control unit (11) that controls the opening/closing of the first on-off valve (51) on the basis of the acquired user's voice.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
