To provide a raw material that has hygroscopicity, deodorization and the like, and can reduce occurrence of molds and bacteria as much as possible, and further can sterilize bacteria and the like even if the bacteria and the like occur.SOLUTION: A hygroscopic body that contains 15 parts by weight to 75 parts by weight of porous powder made of porous materials having diatomite, zeolite and the like pulverized and 5 parts by weight to 15 parts by weight of metal powder made of oxides of alkali earth metal such as magnesium oxide, whose pH value at the time when water is applied to a surface of the body is set to be equal to 11.0 or more, is applied to inner walls of a hospital and a care facility, in a range of 200 μm-400 μm. When dried, the hygroscopic body is made to keep hygroscopicity and deodorization, and water is regularly applied to the body by a spray to highly alkalify the body with pH 11 or more, so that the body can deaden bacteria and virus adhering to the wall surfaces.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】吸湿性や防臭性などを有するとともに、カビや細菌の発生を極力低減させ、また、仮に、細菌などが発生した場合であっても、殺菌できるようにした素材を提供する。【解決手段】珪藻土やゼオライトなどを粉砕させた多孔性材料からなる多孔性粉体を１５重量部〜７５重量部と、酸化マグネシウムなどのアルカリ土類金属の酸化物からなる金属粉体を５重量部〜１５重量部と、を含有する吸湿体において、表面に水を塗布した際のｐＨ値を１１．０以上となるようにし、これを病院や養護施設などの内壁に２００μｍ〜４００μｍの範囲内で塗布する。そして、乾燥時においては吸湿性や防臭性を保つようにするとともに、定期的にスプレ—により水を塗布し、ｐＨ１１以上の強いアルカリ性にすることによって、壁面に付着した細菌やウィルスなどを死滅させる。【選択図】なし
