To provide a binder composition for ceramic molding capable of preparing a slurry having excellent dispersibility of ceramic powder and capable of temporally holding its excellent dispersibility, when used in preparation of a slurry containing ceramic powder and a solvent.SOLUTION: A binder composition for molding ceramic that includes a (meth)acrylic copolymer A that contains a constitutional unit derived from a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer and a constitutional unit derived from a carboxy group-containing monomer, and, having an acid value of exceeding 0 mgKOH/g and 85 mgKOH/g or less, a (meth)acrylic copolymer B containing a constitutional unit derived from (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer and a constitutional unit derived from a hydroxy group-containing monomer, having a hydroxy value of exceeding 0 mgKOH/g and 50 mgKOH/g or less, and Mw smaller than the Mw of the copolymer A, in which a content ratio of the copolymer A relative to the copolymer B is, by mass basis, 50/50 to 95/5 and its application.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】セラミック粉末及び溶剤を含むスラリーの作製に用いた場合に、セラミック粉末の分散性に優れ、かつ、その優れた分散性を経時で保持し得るスラリーを作製できるセラミック成形用バインダー組成物を提供する。【解決手段】（メタ）アクリル酸アルキルエステル単量体に由来の構成単位及びカルボキシ基含有単量体に由来の構成単位を含み、かつ、酸価が０ｍｇＫＯＨ／ｇを超えて８５ｍｇＫＯＨ／ｇ以下である（メタ）アクリル系共重合体Ａと、（メタ）アクリル酸アルキルエステル単量体に由来の構成単位及び水酸基含有単量体に由来の構成単位を含み、水酸基価が０ｍｇＫＯＨ／ｇを超えて５０ｍｇＫＯＨ／ｇ以下であり、かつ、Ｍｗが、上記共重合体ＡのＭｗよりも小さい（メタ）アクリル系共重合体Ｂと、を含み、上記共重合体Ｂに対する上記共重合体Ａの含有比率が、質量基準で、５０／５０〜９５／５であるセラミック成形用バインダー組成物及びその応用。【選択図】なし
