To provide an opening restriction stopper capable of securing safety by making the opening angle of a window constant, fully opening the window by a simple operation in an emergency, and preventing the window from being fully opened in an unexpected manner.SOLUTION: Included are a sash bracket 16 fixed to a sash 14 that is attached to a window frame 12 via a rotary shaft and a frame bracket 18 fixed to the window frame 12. An arm 22 is rotatably mounted on the sash bracket 16, and a cylindrical body 20 is rotatably provided on the frame bracket 18. One end of the arm 22 is inserted into an opening 25 formed at the end in the longitudinal direction of the body 20 in a projectable/retractable manner within a predetermined length range, and locks the arm 22 to the body 20 in the projected state. The frame bracket 18 has a shaft part 26 attached to the body 20, and the body 20 has a release plate 66 for locking the shaft part 26 and releasing the locking by moving it. A protective cover 86 covering the release plate 66 and detachable by a predetermined force or more is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
