To provide a bracket which is improved in strength.SOLUTION: A bracket 40 comprises a first end part 40a having a fitting surface 42 which can be fitted to a wall part, a second end part 40b which can be fitted with a handrail, and a middle part 46 with a hollow structure which extends from the first end part 40a to the second end part 40b, wherein a fitting surface 42 has a larger outer side than the middle part 46, which has a pair of side walls 50, the pair of side walls 50 each having, nearby the first end part 40a, a rib 52 which suppresses the side wall 50 from deforming inward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
