To provide a wooden building which can be easily and inexpensively constructed while securing strength.SOLUTION: Included are: a column 3, a first beam 4 extending laterally from the column 3; a second beam 4 extending in the longitudinal direction from the column 3; a wall block 8 fitted in a wall frame including the column 3 and the first beam 4; and a wall block 8 fitted in a wall frame including the beam 3 and the second beam 4. The column 3 is formed to have a cross section of T-shape or L-shape by joining a first column member 31 and a second column member 32. The first beam 4 and the second beam 4 are formed to have in a cross section of T-shape or L-shape by joining a first beam member 41 and a second beam member 42. The first column member 31, the second column member 32, the first beam member 41, and the second beam member 42 are square members, all of which have the same elongated rectangular shape in cross section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
