To provide a catch basin which can be connected to various drain pipes having different projection angles to an outer wall surface of a building, and prevents occurrence of a problem of water leakage.SOLUTION: A catch basin 10 connects a drain pipe 50 projecting from an outer wall surface of a building and a downpipe 60, and includes: a body cylindrical part 11 that is fit and connected to the upper side of the downpipe 60; and a branch pipe 13 that is connected to a side wall 12 of the body cylindrical part 11 and to which the drain pipe 50 is inserted. A tip end side opening of the branch pipe 13 has an oval shape that is long in a vertical direction, and the branch pipe 13 is formed so that a cross-sectional shape in the vertical direction of the inner peripheral surface gradually approaches a circular shape toward a root side end from the tip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
