【課題】精度よくかつ容易に設置することが可能な起伏ゲートの設置方法を提供する。【解決手段】この起伏ゲートの設置方法は、水が流入した場合に所定の回動軸線１１周りに回動して起立して水をせき止める起伏ゲート本体１の水をせき止める方向と直交する幅方向（Ｘ方向）における少なくとも一方端に板状の側面部材２を仮固定した状態で、起伏ゲート本体１および側面部材２を設置位置に配置し、側面部材２を外側から固定するためのコンクリート８を流し入れ、コンクリート８が硬化した後に、起伏ゲート本体１と側面部材２との仮固定を解除する。【選択図】図５
