AUXILIARY DOOR CLOSER AND HINGED DOOR BODY STRUCTURE
To provide an auxiliary door closer capable of reliably rotating a door member to a closing position.SOLUTION: A hinged door body structure 100 includes a door member 110 for closing a door frame opening 122, a door pocket 112 for housing the door member 110 in an open position, and an auxiliary door closer 114 arranged between the door member 110 and the door pocket 112. The auxiliary door closer 114 includes a base member 124 fixed to the door pocket 112, and a rotating member 126 for holding a roller 146 abutting on the door member 110. The rotating member 126 is attached in a rotatable manner to the base member 124, and is urged in the rotating direction by a coil spring set in a cylindrical part of the base member 124. The auxiliary door closer 114 applies a force in the closing direction to the door member 110 by the urging force of the coil spring. As the door member 110 is caused to be closed, the roller 146, while moving on the door member 110, continues to press the door member until the door member 110 closes fully the door frame opening 122.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
