To provide an opening/closing body drive mechanism that uses a simple control method that can prevent vibration of an opening/closing body.SOLUTION: The opening/closing body drive mechanism comprises: a base body; an opening/closing body; a drive unit that drives the opening/closing body; a control unit that controls driving of the drive unit; and a movement detection unit that detects the movement of the opening/closing body. The control unit compares a target moving speed that defines an aimed moving speed for the opening/closing body and an actual moving speed of the opening/closing body that is obtained based on information from the movement detection unit, and performs feedback control for controlling driving of the drive unit so that the actual moving speed of the opening/closing body is brought into the target moving speed. When the opening/closing body moves from a close position to an open position and the opening/closing body moves at a speed faster than the target moving speed due to external forces, the control unit resets feedback control when the moving speed of the opening/closing body is decreased by feedback control, and compares the actual moving speed of the opening/closing body and the target moving speed and controls driving of the drive unit so that the actual moving speed of the opening/closing body is brought into the target moving speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
