GROUND MODIFICATION METHOD
To provide a ground modification method capable of preventing floating of a pipe buried in the ground even when the ground becomes liquefied while keeping the environmental load small.SOLUTION: The ground modification method in which the ground around the buried pipe 3 arranged in the liquefaction layer 11 of the ground 10 contains the ground modifier. The ground modifier contains urea. Urea is decomposed by urease activity possessed by microorganisms existing in the liquefaction layer 11. As a result, the liquefaction layer 11 is modified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】環境負荷を小さく抑えながら、地盤が液状化するほどの状況が訪れた場合でも地盤中に埋設した管が浮上することを防止することができる地盤改質方法を提供すること。【解決手段】地盤10の液状化層11内に配置された埋設管3の周囲の地盤に地盤改質材を含有させる地盤改質方法である。地盤改質材は尿素を含む。液状化層11内に存在する微生物が有するウレアーゼ活性によって尿素が分解され、その結果、液状化層11が改質される。【選択図】図2
