To provide a front loader which can be easily mounted on a vehicle body even when the vehicle body is inclined to the front loader, and a work machine including the front loader.SOLUTION: A front loader includes a boom, a main frame mounted on a vehicle body, a sub-frame which is attachable/detachable to/from the main frame and supports the boom, a first engagement part provided on the main frame, a second engagement part which is provided on the sub-frame and is engaged with the first engagement part when the sub-frame is mounted on the main frame, a guide part which is provided on the main frame and allows the second engagement part to be engaged with the first engagement part, and an opening member which is provided on the sub-frame and is formed with an opening to which the guide part is inserted when the second engagement part is engaged with the first engagement part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
