To provide a method of synthesizing ceramic powder suitable for producing a ceramic dense body, ceramic powder, and a method of producing a ceramic dense body.SOLUTION: There is provided a method that comprises a pyrolysis process of pyrolyzing a raw material solution comprising a metal atom compound serving as a raw material of ceramic powder by a spray pyrolysis method to synthesize ceramic powder, which raw material solution further comprises a dehydrative organic compound that comprises at least one alcoholic hydroxide group and causes a dehydration reaction within the molecule or with another molecule in the presence of an acid, and an acid capable of catalyzing the dehydration reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
