To provide a method of producing a sintered body of calcium carbonate, capable of producing an excellent sintered body without using a sintering aid.SOLUTION: The method of producing a sintered body of calcium carbonate comprises a process of producing a molded body by compression-molding calcium carbonate, a process of removing an organic component contained in the molded body by heating the molded body under a temperature condition of 500°C or lower, and a process of obtaining a sintered body of calcium carbonate by sintering the molded body in a carbon dioxide atmosphere under a temperature condition of 450°C or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】焼結助剤を用いずとも、良好な焼結体を得ることができる、炭酸カルシウム焼結体の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】炭酸カルシウムを圧縮成形し、成形体を作製する工程と、温度500℃以下の条件下で前記成形体を加熱することにより、前記成形体中に含まれる有機成分を除去する工程と、炭酸ガス雰囲気かつ温度450℃以上の条件下で前記成形体を焼結させることにより、炭酸カルシウム焼結体を得る工程とを備えることを特徴としている。【選択図】図1
