To provide an assembly stand which can shorten a construction period of a double shell tank by performing an assembling work of a portion excluding the lowermost stage of an inner tank and an assembling work of the lowermost stage of the inner tank in parallel.SOLUTION: A temporary assembly stand supports an outer peripheral part of an inner tank 2 when a double shell tank 1 composed of the inner tank 2 and an outer tank 3 is constructed, and is configured to: include a cantilever 12 as the assembly stand at a support position higher than the lowermost stage of the inner tank 2 in a plurality of portions in a circumferential direction of the bottom of the outer tank 3; and fix the cantilever 12 to an insert 15 buried in concrete forming a side wall 4 of the outer tank 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
