To provide a method of constructing a building that enables work on a stable scaffold.SOLUTION: The method includes: a scaffold installation step of installing a scaffold 1 along an outer circumference of a construction range of a building 5 and providing an intermediate corner brace member 43 at corners in a vertical intermediate portion of the scaffold 1; a first floor part construction step (first skeleton construction step) of constructing a first floor part 55 (first skeleton) below the intermediate corner brace member 43; a first floor part scaffold connecting step (first skeleton scaffold connecting step) of connecting the first floor part 55 and the scaffold 1 with a first floor connecting member 61 (connecting means); an intermediate corner brace member removal step of removing the intermediate corner brace member 43; a second floor part construction step (second skeleton construction step) of constructing a second floor part above the first floor part 55; a second floor part scaffold connecting step (second skeleton scaffold connecting step) of connecting the second floor part and the scaffold 1 with a second floor connecting member (connecting means); and a scaffold dismantling step of disassembling the scaffold 1 and removing the first floor connecting member 61 connecting the first floor part 55 and the scaffold 1 and the second floor connecting member connecting the second floor part and the scaffold 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
