METHOD FOR SOLIDIFYING RADIOACTIVE WASTE
To provide a new method capable of solving a problem of worker's exposure during solidification operation in a method for solidifying radioactive waste using a dio-polymer. .SOLUTION: A method for solidifying radioactive waste includes: a mixing step of mixing a raw material of a dio-polymer to obtain slurry; an injection step of pouring the slurry obtained in the mixing step into a container submerged in water; and a solidification step of solidifying the slurry, which is injected into the container in the injection step, in the container submerged in water. In the mixing step, the raw material of the dio-polymer is mixed so that H2O/Al2O3=8-24 and Si/Al=1.6-3.7 are satisfied in a molar ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ジオポリマーを用いた放射性廃棄物の固化方法において、固化作業時の作業員の被ばくの問題を解決することのできる、新たな方法を提供する。【解決手段】ジオポリマーの原料を混合してスラリーを得る混合工程と、混合工程で得られたスラリーを水中に沈めた容器に注入する注入工程と、注入工程で容器に注入されたスラリーを水中に沈めた容器中で固化させる固化工程とを備え、混合工程において、モル比でＨ２Ｏ／Ａｌ２Ｏ３＝８〜２４、かつ、Ｓｉ／Ａｌ＝１．６〜３．７になるようにジオポリマーの原料を混合する。【選択図】図１
