To provide a cord regulating member capable of easily operating a cord and having a high degree of freedom in a place to be operated while suppressing hooking of a loop-shaped cord to a bottom or the like in a solar radiation shielding device.SOLUTION: A cord regulating member, which restricts the freedom of a loop-shaped cord 2 in a solar radiation shielding device, includes: a body part 8A having a cord guide part 88A through which the cord 2 penetrates and which holds the cord 2 without disturbing its circumferential movement, and a cord inlet/outlet part (space between 84A and 85A1/85A2) allowing the cord 2 to enter/exit the cord guide part 88A; and fixing means 87A, 9 allowing the body part 8A to be attached to a fixing part other than the solar radiation shielding device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
