To provide a method capable of maintaining soundness of vital force with a simple structure and under less-expensive cost by removing a harmful component in air and by making act on a physiological effect of a creature by essentially improving the air in all cases where air is supplied to the creature.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by providing an air improvement material that is an air improvement material obtained by adding tannin, wood-based charcoal to volcanic rock-based ceramic powder derived from Mt. Fuji, which has a function of imparting reduction performance to air that came into contact with the air improvement material and of degrading a gene expression level of a lung that inhaled air in contact with the air improvement material than a gene expression level of a lung that inhaled air not in contact with the air improvement material, an air improvement apparatus utilizing the air improvement material and an air improvement method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】 生物に空気を供給する全ての場合において空気中の有害成分を除去するとともに空気を本質的に改善して生物の生理作用に作用させて生命力の健全性を簡易な構成により低廉なコストの下に維持保全することができる。【解決手段】富士山由来の火山岩系セラミック末にタンニン、木質系炭を添加してなる空気改善材であって、該空気改善材に接触した空気に還元性能を付与するとともに空気改善材に接触した空気を呼吸した肺の遺伝子発現量が空気改善材に接触していない空気を呼吸した肺の遺伝子発現量より低下せしめる機能を有する空気改善材、この空気改善材を利用した空気改善装置ならびに空気改善方法を提供して上記課題を解決する。【選択図】 図２
