To provide a connection member of building material capable of connecting two building materials which are disposed spaced apart with great strength, and a connection structure thereof.SOLUTION: A connection member 21 is configured to connect a door frame which is a building material at the hinged door device side and two building materials including auxiliary member and reinforcing member as building materials on the wall side, which are arranged at a distance from each other. The connection member 21 has a connection part 26 that has a length dimension where both ends in the length direction reach two building materials, in which the connection part that is orthogonal to the thickness direction of the building material is connected to the end of one of the two building materials, and which has a part 27 where the width direction is the thickness direction of the one building material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】間隔をあけて配設される2個の建材を大きな強度で連結することができるようになる建材の連結部材及びその連結構造を提供すること。【解決手段】連結部材21は、間隔をあけて配設される開き戸装置側の建材となっているドア枠と、壁側の建材となっている補助部材及び補強部材等とによる2個の建材を連結するものとなっており、この連結部材21は、長さ方向の両端部が2個の建材に達する長さ寸法を有する連結部26を有するものになっているとともに、この連結部における2個の建材のうちの一方の建材の厚さ方向と直交する側の端部と結合され、幅方向が前記一方の建材の厚さ方向となっている部分27も有するものになっている。【選択図】図8
