To provide a greening roof structure capable of greening a metallic roof having, for example, a round shape, keeping enough strength, having a simple structure and low cost, and simply being constructed.SOLUTION: A greening roof structure 10 comprises: a roof part 12 formed by assembling and jointing multiple board members 12a so as to provide standing seams 24 along a water flow direction W; greening plantings 14 arranged between the standing seams 24; supporting bases 16 mounted on predetermined positions in the flow direction of the standing seams 24 and arranged at a position with upper ends thereof being higher than the standing seams 24; connection members 18 fixed to the supporting bases 16 and drilled with fastening holes 36 in a direction along the water flow direction W; and a decorative board 22 arranged on the supporting bases 16 crossing the water flow direction W and fastened to the connection members 18 via fastening members 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
