To provide a portable machine in which a fitting part of a cover and a case can be easily released.SOLUTION: In a portable machine having a housing formed by fitting a cover 1 and a case, a force application part is provided on a lateral face of the cover 1 or the case for separating the cover and the case, a plurality of fitting claws 11Ra-11Rc, 11Ba, and 11Bb extending along a direction moving away from the force application part are formed on an outer periphery or an inner periphery of the lateral face on which the force application part is formed. A fitting groove that fits with the plurality of fitting claws is formed on the inner periphery or the outer periphery of the lateral face of the case or the cover 1. A gap is provided on a fitting surface of the fitting part close to the force application part, and an inclined plane is formed such that the gap becomes smaller as the plane moves away from the force application part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
