To provide a ceramic tray which can suppress influence of a step surface on a treatment body, and a heat treatment method using the ceramic tray.SOLUTION: A ceramic tray includes a plurality of through holes having a large diameter part and a small diameter part along a thickness direction. A step surface present between the large diameter part and the small diameter part represents a difference between a cut level in a load length ratio of 25% in a roughness curve of the step surface and a cut level in a load length ratio of 75% in the roughness curve. The cut level difference (Rδc) in the roughness curve is 4 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
