To provide calcium aluminosilicate having a sufficiently large ignition loss and imparting a sufficient quick hardness when added to a hydraulic substance such as cement, and to provide a hydraulic composition comprising the calcium aluminosilicate.SOLUTION: Provided is a calcium aluminosilicate comprising an oxide containing calcium, an oxide containing aluminum, and an oxide containing silicon, the calcium aluminosilicate having a peak X appearing in a region where the Raman shift is 500 cm-1 to 600 cm-1 in the Raman spectrum and a peak Y appearing in a region where the Raman shift is 700 cm-1 to 900 cm-1 in the Raman spectrum, the intensity ratio X/Y of the peak X to the peak Y being 0.8 to 1.3.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】十分に強熱減量が大きく、セメント等の水硬性物質に添加した場合、十分な急硬性を付与することができるカルシウムアルミノシリケート、及び、該カルシウムアルミノシリケートを含有する、水硬性組成物を提供する。【解決手段】カルシウムを含む酸化物、アルミニウムを含む酸化物、及び、珪素を含む酸化物を含むカルシウムアルミノシリケートであって、ラマンスペクトルにおいて、ラマンシフトが５００ｃｍ−１以上６００ｃｍ−１以下の領域に現れるピークＸと、ラマンシフトが７００ｃｍ−１以上９００ｃｍ−１以下の領域に現れるピークＹとを有し、ピークＸとピークＹの強度比Ｘ／Ｙが０．８以上、１．３以下である、カルシウムアルミノシリケートを提供する。【選択図】なし
