To provide modular frame members capable of improving efficiency of installation work, and a fitting using the modular frame members.SOLUTION: A modular frame member 10 is configured to connect a vertical frame 16d having an indoor depth piece 21 and an outdoor depth piece 22, and a vertical frame 16c having an indoor depth piece 25 to be connected to the indoor depth piece 21 and an outdoor depth piece 26 to be connected to the outdoor depth piece 22. The modular frame member 10 comprises an alignment part capable of selectively adjusting a connection position among a plurality of positions in a depth direction between the depth pieces to be connected at least at one of connection parts of an indoor connection part 35a connecting the indoor depth pieces 21, 25 and an outdoor connection part 35b connecting the outdoor depth pieces 22, 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
