To provide a method for molding a molded article having a satisfactory use feeling by the elimination of surface roughness.SOLUTION: A method for molding a molded article comprises: a first weighing step (S1)where gypsum, shirasu or the like are weighed; a second weighing step (S2) where a molding material and water are weighed; a mixing step (S3) where the gypsum, shirasu or the like weighed in the first weighing step (S1) and the molding material and water weighed in the second weighing step (S2) are mixed; mold charge steps (S5, S7, S9, S11, S13, S15) where the mixture mixed in the mixing step (S3) is charged to a mold 9; a solidification step (S17) where the mixture mold-charged in the mold charge steps is solidified; and a mold release step (S19) where the mixture solidified in the solidification step is released from the mold to obtain a molded article.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
