To provide a safety passage device allowing a worker walking on a temporary structure to safely straddle a joint part of two steel materials.SOLUTION: A safety passage device 20 is structured in such a way that the device can be arranged straddling between two steel materials 11 over a joint part 13, on a structure 10 formed by jointing the two steel materials 11 having walking surfaces 12 with the joint part 13 provided at end parts in the longitudinal direction of the steel materials.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
