To provide a slope protection method and a slope protection member capable of safely and stably protecting a slope.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a slope protection method for protecting a slope using vegetation. In the slope protection method, a flat-plate like rock fall protection net placed along the slope and a three-dimensional planting base net stacked above the rock fall protection net and having a texture coarser than that of the rock fall protection net are installed on the slope, and then a vegetation base material is sprayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
