L-SHAPED BASEBOARD FOR LEADING HANDRAIL
To provide a retrofit type L-shaped baseboard for leading handrails which can be quickly attached to or removed from a handrail frame of leading handrails with a relatively simple or easy work.SOLUTION: An L-shaped baseboard (10) has a mooring tool (60) for mooring each end of a baseboard body (11) to a vertical strut portion (2a) of a handrail frame (1) so as to be vertically movable. The mooring tool restrains a horizontal displacement of the L-shaped baseboard in an in-plane (X) direction and the horizontal displacement of the L-shaped baseboard in an out-of-plane direction. A handrail frame positioning tool (8) supports lower edge portions (20) at both ends of the baseboard body and at least partially supports a vertical load of the L-shaped baseboard. The L-shaped baseboard further has a locking tool (50) which locks to a baluster portion (6a) of a stiffener (6), and the locking tool abuts on an outer peripheral surface of the baluster portion and constrains in-plane and out-of-plane horizontal displacement of the L-shaped baseboard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
