To provide an access control device that allows user's biometric information to be registered in a terminal device without using a device dedicated to biometric information registration, in a form of managing the user's biometric information in the terminal device in each building.SOLUTION: An access control device includes: authentication information storage unit 313 that stores user's biometric information and authentication information; and a registration control unit 314 that authenticates the user based on the user's authentication information and registers the user's biometric information acquired by a biometric information acquisition device 33 in the authentication information storage unit 313 when the user's biometric information is determined to be acquired by the biometric information acquisition device within a predetermined registration schedule period of the user's biometric information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
