TENSION CONTROL DEVICE AND GUARD FENCE
To provide a tension control device and a guard fence capable of controlling damping performance according to the magnitude of a tensile force acting on a stay rope and reducing the required cross-sectional performance of a support post.SOLUTION: A stay rope 40 arranged between an upper part of a support post 10 and an upper side of a protective net 20, and a tension control device 30 of the stay rope 40 are used. The tension control device 30 includes a peripheral wall 32 provided on the upper part of the support post 10, and a driven restraint mechanism 50 arranged inside the peripheral wall 32. Both ends of the stay rope 40 extending to the outside of the tension control device 30 are connected to the upper side of the protective net 20 located on both sides of each support post 10 so that the tensile force generated in the stay rope 40 is dampened by the tension control device 30 when receiving an impact and the tensile force is transmitted in a chain reaction from a receiving span to an adjacent span through the stay rope 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
