To provide a water conduction drainage material which can be manufactured at low cost, is easily handled, having light weight, pressure-resistant and flexible with a water conduction section secured, and is usable for multiple purposes.SOLUTION: A water conduction drainage material 10 is formed by winding a wound member 11 having projected parts and recessed parts alternately in longitudinal and horizontal directions by one round or more and comprising a covering member 12 in the outer most periphery of the wound member 11. 【課題】低コストで製造できるとともに取扱いも簡易であり、通水断面を確保しつつ、かつ、軽量で耐圧性と可撓性を有し、多用途に使用することができる通水・排水材を提供する。【解決手段】縦横方向に凸部と凹部を交互に有する巻回部材１１が少なくとも１周以上巻回され、巻回された巻回部材１１の最外周には被覆部材１２が備えられていることを特徴とする通水・排水材１０である。通水・排水材１０の中心部には中空円筒管１３を有していてもよい。【選択図】図１
