To make it easy to check the internal condition of facilities, especially manholes.SOLUTION: A facility information collecting method of the present invention executes a facility image data acquisition step, a facility image data recording step, a deterioration information addition step, and a facility status data recording step. The facility image data acquisition step includes capturing, for a facility having a storage space portion, an image of the storage space portion under predetermined conditions and acquiring facility image data while associating the image with identification information for identifying the facility. The facility image data recording step includes recording the facility image data. The deterioration information addition step includes acquiring information on deterioration based on the facility image data, and obtaining facility status data while associating the facility image data with the information on deterioration.
