To arrange a scaffold adjacently to a building, and allow an operator positioned in the scaffold to easily and safely perform a construction work.SOLUTION: A face material construction device 1 includes a scaffold 2 installed in the periphery of a building 100, an arm part 3 supporting a lifting device 5, and an arm support part 4 which is fixed to the scaffold 2 and supports the arm part 3. The arm support part 4 supports the arm part 3 in a state in which the support position of the lifting device 5 in the arm part 3 is separated from the building 100 rather than a vertical member 21c closest to the building 100 among a plurality of vertical members 21. The scaffold 2 includes a movement regulation part which regulates movement of the lifting device 5 to the side of the building 100 when a face material 130 suspended by a wire 52 of the lifting device 5 is pushed to the side of the building 100, and a working space Sp where an operator performs a construction work is provided below the support position of the lifting device 5 in the arm part 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
