To provide an additive for concrete, in which: a cement composition exhibits low viscosity and high flowability in an early stage of installation even if the additive is added; and long age strength of the concrete and the like is improved by the addition.SOLUTION: An additive for cement comprises a water-absorbing resin, wherein: the water-absorbing resin is formed by polymerizing a monomer mixture containing 75 mol% or more of a nonionic monomer; the monomer mixture comprises 0.01-1 mol% of a non-hydrolyzable cross-linking nonionic monomer and 25 mol% or more of a hydrolyzable cross-linking nonionic monomer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】添加によっても打設時の初期にはセメント組成物の粘性が低く、また流動性が高く、また、添加によりコンクリート等の長期強度が向上するコンクリート用添加剤を提供する。【解決手段】吸水性樹脂を含む、セメント用添加剤であって、前記吸水性樹脂が、ノニオン性単量体を７５モル％以上含む単量体混合物を重合してなり、前記単量体混合物は、非加水分解性架橋性ノニオン性単量体を０．０１〜１モル％および加水分解性架橋性ノニオン性単量体を２５モル％以上含む、セメント用添加剤。【選択図】なし
