NIOBIUM-BASED LEAD-FREE PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMIC AND PRODUCING METHOD THEREOF
To provide a piezoelectric ceramic having improved piezoelectric characteristics by using nano-sized sodium niobate and potassium niobate produced by a hydrothermal method, and a producing method thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a niobium-based lead-free piezoelectric ceramic having improved piezoelectric characteristics such as a reduced rate of change in a temperature characteristic of a relative permittivity and excellent piezoelectric characteristics with regard to relative permittivity and equivalent piezoelectric constant, and a producing method thereof in which at least a lithium carbonate, a barium carbonate, a zirconium oxide, a titanium oxide, a bismuth oxide and an iron oxide are added within each predetermined range, a raw material thus formed is added with the sodium niobate and the potassium niobate prepared by the hydrothermal method as additives, an alkalinization treatment is applied for raising pH so as to be weak alkaline, and then mixing, crushing and firing, etc. are carried out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
