To provide an efficient wall surface cleaning device capable of performing cleaning in a short period of time, and a wall surface cleaning method.SOLUTION: A wall surface cleaning device 1 comprises a movable base 2, and front-side and rear-side brush bodies 7 and 9 that are positioned on front and rear sides along a movement direction of the base 2 and loaded on the base 2.
