To improve water cut-off performance between pipes in a soil retaining structure.SOLUTION: A construction method for soil retaining structure comprises steps of: a first insertion step for inserting in the natural ground a first pipe 131 having a core member 132 and a cuttable section 133 arranged in the core member 132 and having lower hardness than that of the core member 132; and a second insertion step for inserting a second pipe 136 in the natural ground parallely to the first pipe 131 while cutting the cuttable section 133 of the inserted first pipe 131.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
