INSTALLATION METHOD FOR MOORING SYSTEM AND INSTALLATION METHOD FOR FLOATING BODY FOR MOORING
To obtain a horizontal position of an anchor with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A mooring system 3 includes an anchor 32 installed on a water bottom and a mooring line 33 connected to an anchor 32, and moors a floating body 2 for mooring on water. An installation method for the mooring system 3 includes: a step of moving the anchor 32 by applying tension by a floating body for testing to the mooring line 33 connected to the anchor 32, and applying prescribed tension to the mooring line 33 after movement of the anchor 32 is stopped as described above (step S112); and a step of acquiring a horizontal position of the anchor 32 by calculation utilizing a catenary theory based on a horizontal position of the floating body for testing, a depth of a testing water area, the testing tension, a length of the mooring line 33 between the anchor 32 and the floating body 5 for testing, and a specification of the mooring line 33 (step S113). Thus, the horizontal position of the anchor 32 is capable of being acquired at high accuracy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
