To better monitor correct locking conditions by making available a quick changer and the display device used with such a quick changer.SOLUTION: A quick changer 1 is used for automatically replacing an attachment on a construction machine. The quick changer 1 comprises: a first receptacle 8 for receiving a first connecting element, located on one side of a support 7; a second receptacle 9 for receiving a second connecting element, located on the other side of the support 7, which second receptacle 9 comprises at least one locking element 10 that moves the attachment between a release position for connecting or disconnecting the attachment and a locking position for holding the attachment in place in the quick changer 1; and display device 19 for monitoring the locked state, arranged on the support 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1a
