To provide a base member fitting device which achieves distortion prevention of a door.SOLUTION: A base member fitting device B comprises: a rotatable vehicle door 4 which is fitted to an upper hinge 2 and a lower hinge 3; an upper intermediate member 5 which is fitted to the upper hinge 2; a lower intermediate member 6 which is fitted to the lower hinge 3; a base member 1 which covers the upper intermediate member 5 and the lower intermediate member 6 and has a longitudinal shape which is long in a longer direction, and becomes a base for fitting a component 10; upper connection means which connects the base member 1 and the upper intermediate member 5; and lower connection means which connects the base member 1 and the lower intermediate member 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
