To provide a disaster prevention type facility which is efficient in preventing both an earthquake and a flood and can prevent water immersion damage.SOLUTION: A disaster prevention type facility 10 comprises: a facility body 12 having an aboveground facility portion 22, and a shelter portion 23 provided at a lower part side of the aboveground facility portion 22; a foundation portion 11 having an underground space 16 in which the shelter portion 23 of the facility body 12 is disposed so as to ascend/descend; and an ascending/descending mechanism 13 making the aboveground facility portion 22 and the shelter portion 23 of the facility body 12 integrally ascend/descend with respect to the foundation portion 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
