To provide a remote-controlled drain plug device capable of increasing the degree of freedom in the installation location of an electric drive mechanism and preventing damage or failure of the electric drive mechanism.SOLUTION: There is provided a remote-controlled drain plug device that opens and closes a drain port 3 at the bottom of a bathtub 2 installed in a bathroom 1 by raising and lowering a valve 4 based on the input of operation instructions from a user, comprising: an electric operation panel 10 that accepts input of operation instructions from a user; an electric drive unit 11 that is driven based on the input of the electric operation panel 10 and outputs an operation instruction to raise and lower the valve 4; and a power supply unit 5 that supplies power to the electric drive unit 11. The electric drive unit 11 is installed inside the bathroom 1, and the power supply unit 5 is installed outside the bathroom 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
