To provide a film thickness management auxiliary material of which film thickness of a fire-resisting coating in an external corner of an iron frame member can be easily managed.SOLUTION: A film thickness management auxiliary material 30 is for managing the film thickness of a fire-resisting coating 20 applied on a beam member 1. The film thickness management auxiliary material 30 includes: a first piece 31, extending linearly; a second piece 32, extending linearly in a direction that intersects with the first piece 31; and a fan-shaped connection piece 33 connecting the first piece 31 and the second piece 32 to each other. The first piece 31 is arranged in an upper surface 10A of a lower flange 10 of the beam member 1, the second piece 32 is arranged in a side surface 10B of the lower flange 10 of the beam member 1, and the connection piece 33 is arranged in an external corner 10C of the beam material 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
