To provide a fire resistant wooden member which does not obstruct a deformation to increase a width of a fire resistant coating material in the vicinity of a substrate material.SOLUTION: A fire resistant wooden member 10 comprises: a wooden core material 12; a fire resistant coating material 18 provided at an outside of the core material 12 and deforming by heating to increase a width and to exhibit heat insulation property; and a substrate material 22 provided at an outside of the fire resistant coating material 18, and further comprises an allowance portion 26 provided on a side near the fire resistant coating material 18 of the substrate material 22 and allowing deformation to increase a width of the fire resistant coating material 18 in the vicinity of the substrate material 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
