To provide a winding lanyard that can increase a feeling of fitting.SOLUTION: A winding lanyard concerning one embodiment is the winding lanyard for holding back a wearer's crash from a structure. The winding lanyard includes, in this order, a hook mounted to a structure, a shock absorber part for absorbing a shock applied to the wearer, a winder for winding a strap extending from the shock absorber part, and a connector mounted to the wearer. A ratio of a length of the shock absorber part to a full length of the winding lanyard is 30% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
