To provide a charnel house in which a space for offering is not required and an urn can be easily taken out.SOLUTION: A charnel house of the present invention is provided with: a plurality of urn storage parts provided with a shelf board on which the urn is placed and a side plate; and a rotary plate provided on a front part of the shelf board. The rotary plate rotates between a vertical state and a horizontal state with respect to a rotary shaft arranged in a horizontal direction. The rotary plate in the vertical state prevents the urn from falling. A mortuary tablet, an offering, or the like can be placed on the rotary plate in the horizontal state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
