SLUICE, IRRIGATION DEVICE, IRRIGATION SYSTEM AND CROP CULTIVATION METHOD
To provide a sluice that can be positioned so that the position of an upper end is almost the same as the position of the surface of a ridge, and the water level required for the agricultural land can be adjusted.SOLUTION: A sluice of the present invention comprises: an outer cylinder buried in a ridge with a bottom wall facing down; an inflow portion that allows liquid to flow from an outside to an inside of the outer cylinder; an outflow portion that allows the liquid to flow out from the inside to the outside; an intermediate cylinder that is housed inside and can be expanded and contracted along the vertical direction; a slide cylinder that fits into an upper portion of the outer cylinder and is slidable; and a lid attached to the slide cylinder and capable of opening and closing an upper opening of the slide cylinder. The slide cylinder is positioned so that the vertical position of the lid when the opening is closed is substantially the same as the position of the surface of the ridge. The intermediate cylinder is adjusted to a length at which the upper end thereof is the position of the water level required for the agricultural land adjacent to the ridge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
